How to Make a Dwarf Paladin

When creating a dwarf paladin, you can start by choosing a mountain dwarf. Dwarfs are known to have a +2 constitution bonus that contributes to improving HP and resistance. You could choose heavy amour, which is perfectly fine to carry around considering the strength of a dwarf. Don’t forget that you will have Darkvision and Dwarven Resilience that will serve as protection for resisting poisons and a boost in operating your weapons. For example, the name of your dwarf paladin can be Dourel Koboldfury with stats such priority as Strength 17 (+3) Dexterity 12 (+1) Wisdom 14 (+2) Constitution 16 (+3) Intelligence 8 (-1) Charisma 8 (-1)

When it comes to a weapon, you can choose a shield and hammer, along with a defensive and protective fighting style. Using a defensive fighting style adds a +1 bonus to your AC.  Paladins are known to make use of minor spells. So, as a dwarf paladin, making use of minor spells to give creatures a disadvantage during a fight. Minor spells can involve protective and defensive spells, boosting and healing spells, and divine health spells that give you immunity to diseases.

That’s not all because you can choose the Oath of Devotion, which is related to light and goodness. The Oath of Devotion from paladins on dwarfs hammer or axe, which is fiercely opposed to the forces of evil. It grants your dwarf paladin character the ability to perform spells to eliminate evil.

How to Roleplay as a Dwarf Paladin

Dwarf paladins are often soldiers who are trained to protect the dwarven clerics from dangers. In most cases, they are regarded as priests who focused on martial arts for defending others instead of themself. They are equipped with a divine ability for spell casting.

Role-playing as a dwarf paladin can depend on your preference. For example, Dourel Koboldfury, who’s a paladin from Moradin is lawfully good, in serving justice. Dourel wasn’t with the best skill but he can fight. With his average fighting skills, he was selected as a member of the gold order, which militants are dedicated to protecting holy miners of gold. However, it didn’t take long before battle hit the miners, killing everyone and leaving Dourel injured. Dourel has lost his reputation, being left with only defeat as he went back to the castle. From that day, he swore to take revenge on people who caused him to defeat by regaining his past glory.
